Final and Executive Design, Construction Management and Construction Site Safety
The project to be implemented follows exactly what was authorized by the previous improvement plan, incorporating the observations contained therein, both in terms of optimizing underground spaces, limiting the number of partitions, and in terms of the use of materials, inspired by sustainable construction. For the rest, the project complies with the requirements of the preliminary urban planning checks, as well as with health and hygiene aspects and current building regulations. The new company center will therefore consist of a two-story building: one completely underground, consisting of a reinforced concrete structure with a side ditch surrounding it, while the ground floor has a structure consisting mainly of a lightweight iron and glass structure, with only the infill parts using local stone recovered from the excavation. The building has been designed to achieve high standards of thermal insulation in order to limit energy consumption in winter and summer, using 10 cm thick polyurethane foam insulation, which will also envelop the structure in the part of the wall made of local sandstone, while in the glazed part, thermal glass windows will be chosen to reduce the passage of cold and heat. In order to provide adequate ventilation to the rooms in the basement, basement windows will be created using a drainage channel with an outlet onto the sidewalk surrounding the building via grates. The floors will be of the ‘predalles’ type, i.e., prefabricated panels 120 cm wide consisting of trusses with polystyrene interlayers, and finally, we have the composite slab in concrete and electro-welded mesh, all of which will be cast on site. As for the roof, which is essentially a flat roof with a slight slope to ensure proper water drainage, it will feature a ventilated system with thermal insulation and waterproofing and a final coating of grit. The interior flooring will be made with traditional materials such as terracotta/travertine for rooms such as the living room and sleeping area. The basement will feature quartz flooring in agricultural areas and ceramic tiles in rooms such as the kitchen and bathroom. The external sidewalk will be made of traditional bricks laid diagonally (so-called “herringbone”) with a sandstone or travertine border. For the fixtures and fittings, aluminum or wooden windows and French windows will be used with energy-saving double glazing. The gutters and downspouts will be made of copper pipes. The farm center will be equipped for the disposal of waste water and rainwater from the degreaser, which will be treated in the activated sludge and total oxidation plant and then collected in the Imhoff tank. This can be seen more clearly in the tables relating to this subject. (discharge authorization request filed). As for the electrical system, a new meter will be installed to meet the needs of the farm. The building will be equipped with a boiler for both domestic hot water production and heating of living spaces through convector heaters.
