The actions proposed in the project, prepared in accordance with the provisions of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 5: “Inclusion and Cohesion” – Component 1: “Labour Policies” – Investment 1.1: ‘Strengthening of Employment Centres’ in implementation of the extraordinary plan to strengthen employment centres and active labour policies in Tuscany, mainly contribute to the energy efficiency of the building, but also aim to resolve all the main critical issues identified within the limits of the available economic resources. In order to achieve an energy upgrade that can become an example of good practice in construction and renovation, eight strategic themes have been identified that have guided the design choices and methods of intervention:
– Energy efficiency, abandonment of fossil fuels, reduction of consumption and polluting emissions;
– Inclusiveness, accessibility and increased safety of buildings;
– Technical and technological aspects: improvements in quality relating to technical features and innovative characteristics;
– Functional aspects: improvements in quality relating to functional characteristics and energy consumption reduction;
– Architectural aspects: improvements in quality relating to aesthetic characteristics.
